Specialist utility asset adoption provider Indigo Networks has signed a new lease for a larger headquarters at Green Park in Reading.
The company has taken purpose-configured space at 100 Brook Drive, a major multi-let building managed by property owner Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd. Indigo Networks already operated from the business park but secured the larger premises to accommodate workforce growth and support its national expansion plans.
As an independent network operator, Indigo Networks serves over 210,000 residential and commercial premises across the UK. The firm manages assets spanning electricity, water and gas networks.
Demand for utility adoption partners has increased due to sustained UK network investments, the rapid rollout of electric vehicle infrastructure and ongoing net zero transition targets. Indigo Networks designed the new layout to foster internal collaboration, accommodate expanding teams and host commercial partners.
Situated within the Thames Valley technology corridor, Green Park provides direct access to the M4 motorway, enabling the company to serve its nationwide customer base.
Terry Dugdale, Chief Executive Officer at Indigo Networks, comments, “This move is about creating a workplace that supports collaboration, brings people together and gives us the room to keep growing. Our new office reflects where we are today and, more importantly, where we’re heading. Whether it’s welcoming customers, meeting partners or attracting great people to join the team, it speaks to the ambition and professionalism of what Indigo Networks has become.”
He adds, “One of the best things about Green Park is that it offers much more than just office space. From grabbing a coffee and getting outside for a lunchtime walk to taking part in one of the community events or simply enjoying the surroundings, there’s a real buzz about the place that makes coming into the office enjoyable. It strikes the right balance between work and well-being, and that’s something our team really values. Having a workplace where people enjoy spending time together helps us collaborate better, build stronger relationships and create an environment where everyone can do their best work.”
Henry Harrison, Vice President, Asset Management, the UK, Mapletree, adds, “Indigo Networks is a great example of the kind of ambitious, growth-oriented business that thrives at Green Park. Their decision to expand here to invest in a headquarters that matches where their business is heading is a strong vote of confidence in the park and the environment we’ve created. The Indigo Networks team is already very much part of our community here on the Park, and we look forward to supporting their next chapter.”
Mapletree continues to fund an ongoing investment program across Green Park, introducing outdoor workspaces, food and beverage options and physical well-being facilities to support scaling businesses.
