Emaar Properties and Dubai World Trade Centre have announced a further expansion of their joint venture at Expo City Dubai with the launch of Terra Gardens, the second phase of the Expo Living masterplan.

The unveiling follows the debut of Terra Heights and marks continued momentum in shaping Expo City Dubai into a modern residential and commercial hub aligned with Dubai’s long-term urban strategy.

Expo Living spans 451,295 square metres and has been planned to combine residential, retail, hospitality and commercial uses alongside public leisure spaces. Once completed, the development will include five residential communities delivering 3,555 units in total.

Terra Gardens will introduce 560 units, with additional launches to follow. Residents will have access to a central park, outdoor jogging routes, cinema facilities, fitness stations, padel courts and volleyball courts. Positioned next to Expo Mall, the neighbourhood will offer retail, dining and entertainment access within walking distance, enabling residents to live and work within the wider urban district.

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Executive Director, Emaar Properties, said: “With the launch of Terra Gardens, we are taking the next step in realising the vision of Expo Living as a dynamic, sustainable and connected community. Terra Gardens reflects Emaar’s commitment to creating vibrant neighbourhoods that combine modern living with access to nature, leisure, and cultural experiences. We are proud to offer residents a thoughtfully designed environment where they can live, work, and thrive within the heart of Expo City Dubai.”

Designed around landscaped courtyards and wellness-focused public areas, the development will include shaded paths, parks, children’s play facilities and a dedicated pet area, along with yoga and meditation zones and multi-purpose sports courts.

Amer Al Farsi, Vice President of Real Estate Development at Dubai World Trade Centre, said: “Our joint venture with Emaar Properties continues to advance its long-term ambition and forward vision with the integration of Terra Gardens into the Expo Living masterplan. This milestone marks an important step towards shaping the future of Expo City Dubai, creating a community where residents can live, connect and thrive. By bringing together residential, retail and commercial offerings, we are building a premier community that sets a new benchmark for connected, modern and people-centric urban living.”

The project forms part of Dubai’s 2040 Urban Plan, prioritising sustainable design, accessibility and community-focused living.
