Peregrine Hospitality, the full-service hospitality company, has announced the appointment of Kristen Richter as its new Chief Commercial Officer. Richter takes up the position following the departure of previous CCO Kristie Goshow, who has left the firm to pursue other opportunities.
Richter joins Peregrine Hospitality bringing over two decades of experience in driving revenue growth across multiple segments within the global hotel industry. She is now tasked with overseeing commercial strategy, revenue management, sales, and marketing for the company. Her focus will be on optimising revenue channels and advancing profitability across Peregrine’s growing portfolio of properties.
Peregrine Hospitality CEO Greg Kennealey commented on the appointment, highlighting Richter’s expertise: “Kristen is an exceptional commercial strategist with deep experience in the global luxury and upscale hotel space. She has an impressive ability to connect commercial strategy with execution, and her leadership will be instrumental as we continue to optimize our sales, marketing, and revenue strategies across the portfolio.”
Before moving to Peregrine Hospitality, Richter held a significant role at Accor, where she served as Chief Commercial Officer for the prestigious Fairmont and Raffles brands. In this role, she managed the commercial strategy encompassing sales, revenue, digital, loyalty, and distribution for both brands.
Richter’s extensive career history also includes several other senior leadership positions in the hospitality sector. She previously worked as head of global sales at Sonder, served as chief commercial officer for the Americas at Radisson Hotel Group, and held the role of senior vice president of global revenue management at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Richter expressed her excitement about her new challenge with the company, noting the opportunity for strategic refinement across the business. She said: “Joining Peregrine Hospitality at this stage of its evolution is an incredible opportunity. With a growing and diverse portfolio, we have the ability to refine how commercial strategy informs every business decision, strengthening market positioning, deepening customer engagement, and driving sustained revenue growth.”
Her appointment marks a strategic move by Peregrine Hospitality to refine its commercial structure and accelerate top-line performance as it continues to expand its presence in the hospitality market.
