Global commercial real estate and investment management firm JLL (NYSE: JLL) has named Amanda Brimmer as its new CFO, Leasing Advisory and Head of Corporate Development.

Brimmer’s responsibilities will include driving financial growth and performance for the firm’s leasing advisory business. She will collaborate with business leaders worldwide. Crucially, Brimmer will also be in charge of leading the identification and execution of strategic growth opportunities. This key function aims to further strengthen JLL’s market leadership and deliver increased value to clients globally.

Reporting directly to JLL CFO Kelly Howe, Brimmer’s appointment is effective immediately.

Her deep M&A and transformational program expertise will be invaluable in optimizing the firm’s assets and capturing the competitive advantages of our global platform.”

Brimmer brings a wealth of experience, having spent more than two decades at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Her most recent position there was as a Managing Director and Senior Partner. In this capacity, she was responsible for leading BCG’s global Industrial Goods Private Investors and Private Equity practice. She also served as the chair of BCG’s Center for Illinois’ Future. Brimmer’s impressive track record includes providing M&A expertise and delivering more than 50 commercial diligences annually across various sectors.

Brimmer is highly qualified, holding an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management. She also currently sits as a Director for the Easterseals Serving Chicagoland and Greater Rockford.
