Dallas and Atlanta based property companies Bridge Tower and Blackmon Real Estate have launched a strategic joint venture named Build-to-Ownership (B2O). The new initiative is designed to increase homeownership access for families across the Greater Atlanta region and additional markets.

The initiative is led by Bridge Tower Co-CEO Jackson Su and Blackmon Real Estate founder Michael S. Render. It aims to empower local residents by providing a practical pathway to move from renting to owning newly constructed houses.

Michael S. Render said: “This initiative is about bringing homeownership within reach for people who crave the stability that ownership offers. This will ultimately create stronger communities. It will also help families build wealth. Wealth is defined by the ability to own land, and through the B2O program, we are making sure that the people who make Atlanta great have a real stake in its future. We are building houses, yes, but we are also plotting, planning, and organizing for the long-term economic prosperity of our community.”

The B2O program combines the institutional building capabilities of Bridge Tower with the local connections of Blackmon Real Estate. Instead of standard tenancy models, the venture offers a structured framework where residents lease properties with a clear option to purchase later. This process aims to support equity building, long term neighborhood stability and community continuity.

Jackson Su, Co-CEO at Bridge Tower, said: “The B2O model expands our housing platform by creating an additional, attainable avenue to homeownership for families putting down roots for the long term. Bridge Tower has been at the forefront of delivering innovative housing solutions across the Sunbelt, and this initiative builds on that commitment. By providing a clear and achievable path to ownership, we aren’t just delivering houses—we are investing in the future of Atlanta’s residents. Partnering with Michael Render ensures this initiative is grounded in the community it serves.”

The business model is highly scalable, according to Pratik Sharma, Managing Director at Bridge Tower, who noted that strong community outcomes can successfully sit alongside durable, long term investment value.

The venture is currently looking for suitable development sites across the Greater Atlanta area. Company leadership plans to announce the first site acquisition over the next few months, focusing on high growth submarkets close to retail amenities, transit links and employment centers. The strategy involves a phased rollout to ensure proper neighborhood integration.
