Brassbell Hospitality Group has officially entered the Saudi Arabian market with the launch of Fanaya Hotel in Jeddah, marking the first global property under the Fanaya brand and serving as the foundation of a wider multi-phase expansion across the Kingdom. The opening comes as Saudi Arabia’s tourism and hospitality sectors continue to grow rapidly in line with Vision 2030, attracting international and regional operators seeking to introduce new lifestyle concepts.

The debut of Fanaya reflects Brassbell’s commitment to delivering design-oriented, culturally rooted hospitality experiences. Positioned as more than a conventional hotel, Fanaya is intended to support a broader regional rollout that will include locally adapted development collaborations and hospitality models influenced by the unique cultural character of various Saudi cities.

Rooted in a philosophy that brings together art, craft, and community, Fanaya introduces an interpretation of lifestyle hospitality inspired by the Arabic origins of fan, fanni, and fannaya. The property blends contemporary design with local heritage, offering an immersive guest experience shaped by cultural expression and creative influence.

Fanaya features a series of curated spaces designed to encourage interaction and inspiration. These include The Collectors’ Lounge, a hybrid art gallery and social salon; The Atelier, a studio for exhibitions and creative programming; The Supper Club, an intimate dining concept; The Courtyard Café, which draws on Jeddah’s culinary identity; and The Rooftop, a venue hosting cultural nights, DJ sessions, and stargazing events.

The hotel’s artistic direction was developed by Kanjo Design House in Cairo, supported by partners such as Kahhal 1871, lighting designer Noura Hakim, and Safarkhan Art Gallery, each contributing bespoke elements that reinforce the property’s cultural narrative. Fanaya Jeddah offers 51 artistically designed suites, including Executive, Superior, Signature, and a single Royal Suite.

The launch aligns with Brassbell Hospitality Group’s long-term plans in Saudi Arabia. The company is in advanced discussions for two additional Fanaya properties in Riyadh, reflecting its intention to participate in the Kingdom’s expanding lifestyle and culture-led hospitality market. Brassbell’s leadership views Fanaya Jeddah as a starting point for a new phase of growth, aiming to deliver destinations that integrate art, experience, and community for modern travellers.
