L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore (LTEH Onshore) has formally signed a contract to build gas compression facilities for a high-profile client in the Middle East.

The agreement follows a letter of award issued during FY26. Under the terms of the deal, the company will deliver engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for new onshore facilities specifically built to process sour gas.

The extensive scope of work covers gas inlet facilities, gas compression systems, propane refrigeration units, condensate and produced water management systems, and complete supporting utilities. All development must adhere strictly to project requirements, industry codes, and the client’s internal standards.

To supply the necessary electricity for the new compression operations, L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution division will build two 230 kV extra-high-voltage substations.
