Global industrial development giant Panattoni has appointed Sharad Gohil as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of its Indian division. The strategic hire marks a major push by the privately owned firm to accelerate its growth across the industrial, logistics and digital infrastructure markets in India.
Gohil brings over 25 years of international experience in real estate investment, asset management and fund operations across Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Over his career, he has overseen transactions valued at more than US$4 billion spanning the retail, office, residential, hospitality and logistics sectors.
He arrives from IndoSpace Capital Asia, the largest industrial and logistics platform in India, where he served as Chief Executive Officer. His professional background also includes senior positions at major financial firms such as Apollo Global Management, Citigroup Property Investors and AXA Real Estate Investment Managers.
Panattoni entered the Indian market in 2022 and has since developed a network of high-quality facilities. Its current projects include the foundational Delhi-NCR project at Panattoni Park NH71, a massive logistics park in Kochi and a specialised aerospace manufacturing hub in Hyderabad. The firm intends to expand further into major industrial corridors, targeting logistics, manufacturing, e-commerce and data centres.
Company leadership expressed strong confidence in the new appointment.
