Affordable Housing

Construction has commenced on the 147 million dollar Wallace Campus regeneration scheme in Poughkeepsie. The initiative will transform a vacant, historical department store and construct two additional structures to deliver 187 affordable flats alongside 22,000 square feet of commercial space. Backed by state, federal and local funding, the all-electric development forms part of New York State's wider multi-billion dollar housing investment strategy.
Officials in Maryland have broken ground on the Residences at Belvedere Place, a $28 million mixed-use affordable housing project in Baltimore. Led by BRIDGES CDC, WinnDevelopment and Bon Secours Unity Properties, the build transforms 10 vacant parcels into 83 low-income homes and ground-floor retail spaces, targeting completion by spring 2027.
Rockfield Real Estate and pension fund ABP have launched a €350 million joint venture to develop more than 2,000 affordable, eco-friendly homes for students and young professionals in the Netherlands. The initiative aims to tackle severe housing shortages in key Dutch student cities, offering large-scale complexes with communal facilities to help young people successfully transition through early career stages and improve overall market mobility.
