DP World is expanding its UK logistics footprint by taking over six contract logistics facilities from GXO Logistics. The deal includes over two million square feet of warehousing capacity and transfers 2,000 employees. Triggered by a Competition and Markets Authority requirement following GXO’s purchase of Wincanton, the acquisition strengthens DP World's national supply network across ambient, chilled and frozen storage for major British grocers.
