Real estate finance provider Maslow Capital has arranged a development facility of over €40 million for Tikehau Capital and Dunman Capital to construct a serviced apartment scheme in central Berlin.
The funding supports the acquisition and conversion of a currently unoccupied hotel located at Wielandstraße 8 in the Charlottenburg district. The planned transformation will expand the building’s gross floor area from approximately 3,800 square metres to roughly 7,300 square metres, delivering around 250 serviced apartments.
The conversion plans include ground floor and basement communal spaces featuring a fitness area, breakfast room, kitchen and bar. The site sits within walking distance of local commercial hubs including Savignyplatz and Kurfürstendamm.
Léo Béchet, Director, Head of Origination at Maslow Capital Germany, said: “This transaction brings together several factors that are decisive for us when financing a project: experienced and well-capitalised sponsors, a compelling use concept and an established location. At the same time, the project shows how important it is to have financing partners that can move at pace to provide certainty of structuring and execution, even for more complex development and repositioning strategies. We see strong demand in Germany for flexible financing solutions. With our ability to provide partners with tailored capital exactly where it is needed, we are well positioned to meet that demand.”
The financing was structured and executed by Maslow Capital’s local German operation. The transaction follows an expansion of the lender’s regional team in the summer of 2026, which included senior origination appointments Léo Béchet and Marc Dahmen alongside additional deal management staff.
Operating across European markets, Maslow Capital provides development finance, bridging and structured lending through its central credit platform.
