MRI Software has announced the acquisition of Melbourne-based Proptech Labs, a move aimed at strengthening its property management offering across Australia and New Zealand.

The global real estate solutions provider confirmed the deal on Tuesday, saying it would integrate Proptech Labs’s capabilities into its regional platforms, MRI Property Tree and MRI Palace. The addition is set to bring advanced tools for maintenance, invoicing, inspections, key management and AI-driven automation.

The agreement builds on a long-standing partnership between MRI and Proptech Labs, which has already delivered results for more than 2,000 agencies and managers in the region. With this acquisition, MRI said it aims to provide scalable, future-ready technology that can respond to the evolving needs of the real estate sector.

Bowie confirmed that integration would start quickly, with “Key Automate” set to be offered to Property Tree and Palace subscribers by 31 December 2025. He described the rollout as the “beginning of a clear roadmap” to ensure clients access efficiencies and sustained innovation at scale.
