Ellington Properties has awarded a construction contract exceeding AED 1 billion to China Railway 18th Bureau Group for its flagship development, Mercer House, located in Uptown Dubai. The deal marks a major milestone for one of the city’s most ambitious residential projects, further strengthening Dubai’s global reputation for innovative and high-quality urban living.
Mercer House, which has already won the prestigious International Property Award for Best Mixed-Use Development, comprises two elegant towers, a 34-storey North Tower and a 41-storey South Tower. The development will offer a variety of homes, including studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as luxurious four-bedroom penthouses. Designed with a focus on refined aesthetics and functional living, the project is aimed at homeowners and investors seeking both quality and long-term value.
A key feature of the project is the forthcoming Uptown Plaza, an open and walkable retail and dining destination at the heart of the community. The plaza will host a curated mix of boutiques, cafés, and lifestyle outlets, creating a lively urban environment designed to enhance social interaction and everyday convenience for residents and visitors.
