British carmaker Aston Martin has officially moved into the South American property market with plans for a new luxury skyscraper in Brazil. The project, named Setai Residences Interiors by Aston Martin, will be located in João Pessoa, Paraíba, and is being developed alongside Setai Grupo GP, a major private developer in the country’s North-East.

Standing 45 storeys high, the tower will be one of the tallest structures in the region. The site covers roughly 30,000 square metres and is expected to be finished by 2031. The apartments will vary in size from 105 to 320 square metres, catering to a growing demand for high-end housing in the coastal city.

This move follows the carmaker’s recent property ventures in Japan and Florida. The Brazilian project is the second time the company has used its “Interiors by Aston Martin” branding for a multi-unit site. The firm will lead the interior design, applying the same focus on craftsmanship and materials found in its famous sports cars.

Stefano Saporetti, Aston Martin Director of Brand Diversification, said: “As we expand our footprint into Brazil, we are translating and integrating Aston Martin’s British sophistication with the natural allure of Paraíba. By blending our evocative design language with the rich culture and natural beauty of the region, this project scales our craftsmanship into a bespoke lifestyle experience that captures the very essence of modern Brazilian luxury.”

João Pessoa has seen significant economic growth recently, with a sharp rise in tourism recorded in 2025. This has made the city a popular choice for buyers from major hubs like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Architects Baggio Pereira and Schiavon Arquitetura have been hired to design the building.

André Penazzi, CEO of Setai Grupo GP, said: “Bringing Aston Martin’s first residential project to South America, specifically to Paraíba, Brazil, represents a strategic move to partner with iconic, globally recognised brands while positioning the region on the global ultra-luxury residential map. As a long-time admirer and client of the brand for over 15 years, I have personally experienced Aston Martin’s craftsmanship, which perfectly embodies its philosophy of extreme sophistication, elegancy and luxury.”
