The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has partnered with Shelter Advisory Services Limited to launch the second Renewed Hope Housing PPP Summit. The event is set to take place this April at the YarAdua Center in Abuja. This high level policy platform aims to speed up the delivery of large scale housing across Nigeria through structured Public-Private Partnerships. Under the theme “From Policy to Projects: Financing and Delivering Housing at Scale through PPPs”, the summit will gather key decision makers to turn strategy into action.

Organisers have designed the summit as a practical transaction focused space. It will allow state policy makers, legislators and institutional investors to align their frameworks with real world projects. The event will focus on specific areas such as project pipelines, financing instruments and risk allocation. By bridging the gap between policy and bankable projects, the ministry hopes to mobilise long term finance and combine public land with private sector skills. Vice President Kashim Shettima is the expected Special Guest for the day. Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, will act as the host. Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, is scheduled to deliver the Ministerial Address. Other confirmed speakers include Finance Minister Wale Edun and Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.

International property rights expert Ms. Elena Panaritis will deliver the keynote speech. The one day programme also features a specialised training workshop titled “Leveraging PPPs & Joint Ventures for Housing Development”. This session is specifically for developers and heads of housing agencies. Attendees can also participate in private executive sessions and strategic coaching with industry leaders. The main goal is to move the national housing conversation toward sustained delivery and measurable impact for local communities.
