Hyundai HT Co., Ltd. has confirmed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement and several tripartite Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Vietnamese firms. These deals, finalised on 13 March, represent a significant effort by the smart home solutions provider to grow its business across Southeast Asia. The move aims to create an integrated ecosystem in Vietnam that links technology, distribution and project management for the smart building sector.

As part of this growth strategy, Hyundai HT partnered with STARX Technology, a Vietnamese technology project firm. The two companies will work together on the distribution and sales of smart home solutions. This collaboration covers the full lifecycle of a project, including system design, installation and after-sales maintenance. Hyundai HT has named STARX as a “Platinum Regional Strategic Partner” to lead major infrastructure projects in Northern Vietnam. This status provides STARX with project priority rights and technology transfer support.

It represents a meaningful step in applying HYUNDAI HT’s differentiated and advanced smart home technologies to overseas projects, thereby establishing a foundation for business model expansion and demonstrating our technological competitiveness. Moving forward, HYUNDAI HT will continue to expand its global smart home platform supply network, starting with key hubs in Southeast Asia.”

The company also secured MOUs with Geleximco Group and Flamingo Holdings, two prominent real estate developers in Vietnam. These agreements focus on applying AIoT-based technologies to various residential and resort developments. The partners intend to begin with pilot installations in model houses to test system performance before considering a wider roll-out. Under the terms, Hyundai HT will provide the equipment and technology, while STARX manages the technical support and installation. The developers will give priority to Hyundai HT solutions in their future real estate projects.
