Vinhomes is partnering with gold and silver firms to help buyers convert gold into cash to buy properties, with the scheme set to run for five years. This policy is a strategic collaboration between Vingroup Corporation, Vinhomes Joint Stock Company and several gold, silver and gemstone firms. Under the initiative, clients with idle gold can choose to turn it into cash to buy real estate from Vinhomes developers.

After five years, depending on profit growth and market demand, clients can choose to keep holding the property. Alternatively, they can receive back an amount equivalent to 110% of the converted gold used to purchase the property, meaning they receive an additional 10% interest. To ensure legality and the safety of asset values, the entire process of converting gold into cash or vice versa will be managed through gold and jewelry companies.

The scheme applies to buyers who owned gold before 25 April, and the value of the converted gold must reach at least 80% of the property price. Clients can pay the remaining amount in cash, which is converted back into gold at the time of the transaction.

According to Vinhomes representatives, the method of converting gold resources into real estate through gold, silver and gemstone companies can bring double profits: both holding assets and not missing investment opportunities. Additionally, the initiative aims to mobilize idle gold resources among the population, improving the dynamism and efficiency of capital flows while meeting economic growth needs.

This year, Vinhomes aims for revenue growth of over 15% to a record high of VND 120,000 billion, equivalent to over USD 4.77 billion. After-tax profit is projected to increase by approximately 4.3% to VND 35,000 billion, which is the highest since 2022.

Vinhomes affirms that the core driving force of the market is real estate products and urban areas planned comprehensively with green living standards. Consequently, the firm will continue to complete existing projects, expand its key portfolio and prioritize the development of model urban areas in Hanoi, Ha Long, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa and many other provinces and cities.
