London-listed luxury real estate developer Dar Global has officially chosen Gulf Asia Contracting to handle the podium construction for the upcoming Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai. The awarding of the contract represents a major transition into the next primary stage of building work. Enabling works on the site are scheduled for full completion in September 2026.

Occupying a prominent position on Sheikh Zayed Road, the development serves as a gateway to Downtown Dubai. Dar Global confirmed that work on the high-profile project continues to advance on schedule. The developer noted that selecting regional contracting partners forms a key part of its strategy to ensure high standards during every phase of the build.

Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, said: “Following the successful completion of our enabling works, we are pleased to appoint Gulf Asia Contracting to deliver the podium construction for Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai. This marks another important milestone as the project continues to progress according to plan and reflects our commitment to partnering with leading contractors to deliver exceptional quality throughout every stage of development.”

The project was first introduced to the market in April 2025 and is planned to become a major feature of the skyline in Dubai. When completed, the tower will stand at roughly 350 metres in height and will span 80 floors. The completed scheme will combine premium hospitality, branded residential units and an exclusive private members’ club.

Designed to offer high-end accommodation, the building will feature Dubai’s highest outdoor swimming pool. The tower will also include two bespoke penthouses modelled after the famous Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York. Residents will enjoy open views stretching over the Arabian Gulf, Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa.

This contract announcement reflects steady momentum for the project as Dar Global moves forward with its planned timeline. Gulf Asia Contracting is expected to begin podium operations once initial enabling work concludes this autumn.
