Abu Dhabi developer Aldar has announced an expansion of its Yas Island portfolio with the launch of a new gated residential project called The Orchids. Located within the established Yas Acres masterplan, the development will bring 217 new homes to the family-focused neighbourhood.

The project features two- and three-bedroom townhouses alongside larger three-, four- and five-bedroom villas. Designed for modern family living, the properties include private gardens and generous layouts meant to balance home privacy with outdoor access.

The wider Yas Acres neighbourhood has become a highly sought-after location on Yas Island. According to internal data, the existing community achieved an “excellent” Net Promoter Score of +49 for its living experience. Residents regularly highlight the safety, green spaces and neighbourhood atmosphere as top benefits.

The Orchids sits near major local amenities, including the Yas Acres Golf and Country Club which opened in 2021. Families will also have access to international education options such as Noya British School and Yas American Academy.

A central feature of the new development is a 500-square-meter community club that includes a gym, a multipurpose hall and shared social zones. The neighbourhood plan also incorporates a central park, swimming pools for adults and children, sports courts and shaded outdoor areas.

Beyond the immediate community, residents are located minutes away from the leisure and entertainment venues of Yas Island. These include Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Yas Mall, Yas Links and Yas Marina Circuit.
