Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the grand opening of QURO Bangkok Riverside under the Unscripted by Hyatt portfolio. The 62-key hotel, previously operating as The StandardX, Bangkok Phra Arthit, marks the initial Unscripted by Hyatt destination in Thailand.
Situated on Phra Arthit Road beside Phra Arthit Pier in Bangkok’s Bang Lamphu neighbourhood, the property offers access to local landmarks such as Khao San Road, the National Museum, the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun. The hotel combines modern architecture with local heritage, featuring guest accommodations equipped with private balconies and views across the Chao Phraya River and local quarter.
The layout is designed as an open space to encourage interaction between international visitors, local residents and creative groups. Public areas include the QURO Point of View rooftop bar, an outdoor rooftop swimming pool, and the Silpa Riverside Restaurant serving Thai cuisine. In the lobby area, guests have access to BEANS Coffee Roaster alongside changing art displays at QURO GALLERY and curated items at QURO SOURCED.
“QURO Bangkok Riverside takes its name from the word ‘Curate,’” said Sunshine Jeamjirarut, General Manager of QURO Bangkok Riverside. “We bring together art, immersive local experiences and an unhurried approach to service to create a singular, cohesive identity. QURO Bangkok Riverside captures the Unscripted by Hyatt spirit through its strong sense of place, independent character and connection to the everyday rhythm of Bangkok.”
The property joins Unscripted by Hyatt’s global collection of independent upscale hotels. The brand framework allows individual properties operational flexibility while granting access to Hyatt’s centralised system. The addition brings Hyatt’s total operating presence in Thailand to 16 hotels.
