IHG Hotels & Resorts has officially launched its Garner by IHG brand in Southeast Asia with the opening of the 153-room Garner Hotel Pattaya Central in Thailand. The brand focuses on delivering quality, affordable and "easy going stays" in central locations. Situated in the heart of Pattaya, the hotel is a two-hour drive from Bangkok and is steps away from Pattaya Beach and major shopping malls like Terminal21.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced that Thai developer Sansiri Public Company Limited has completed a successful large-scale deployment of generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI). The project is Thailand's first extensive use of Gen AI in the real estate sector. AWS reports that the cloud-based solutions have delivered measurable results for Sansiri, accelerating customer response times by 30 per cent and improving satisfaction scores by 25 per cent.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has launched InterContinental Residences Bangkok Asoke, its first standalone branded residences project in Bangkok. Scheduled for completion in 2029, the development will feature 88 luxury units and is a joint venture with CG Capital, marking a significant step in IHG’s expansion into the standalone branded residential market.
