Construction and development company Skanska has signed a deal to sell a self-developed rental multifamily project in Mölndal, Gothenburg. The asset, known as TingsParken, has been acquired by the Folksam Group through KPA Pension for about SEK 380 million.
Situated within the GoCo area of Mölndal, the project comprises three separate residential buildings. Heights across the structures will range from six to nine storeys, delivering functional floor layouts and high-quality living environments.
In total, the development will provide 128 rental apartments. The scheme covers a total leasable area of just over 7,700 square metres, which includes a small commercial unit measuring approximately 190 square metres.
The transaction will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Property Development during the fourth quarter of 2026. Final closing and takeover are scheduled to occur upon completion of the build, which is targeted for the first quarter of 2029.
Designed with environmental sustainability in mind, TingsParken aims to reach an energy rating of B. The property is also set to gain certification under the “Miljöbyggnad” (Environmental Building) Silver standard.
The deal expands an established partnership between Skanska Hyresbostäder and KPA Pension. Following this latest agreement, the joint collaboration accounts for 15 rental multifamily developments totalling around 1,700 apartments.
