Electric transport provider Green SM has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global B2B super app platform Elife to develop eco-friendly travel solutions for international tourists.
Under the terms of the agreement, Green SM’s mobility services will be integrated into Elife’s global network, enabling partner applications to offer electric rides directly on their existing platforms. Rollouts are planned across markets in Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States.
The alliance gives Green SM direct access to Elife’s network of partners, which collectively serve approximately 100 million monthly active users worldwide. Green SM operates an all-electric fleet composed of VinFast vehicles, offering quiet, emission-free transport tailored for long trips and airport transfers.
In addition to system integration, the two companies will run joint marketing campaigns and offer exclusive promotions aimed at international visitors.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Phuong, GSM Business Director, shared: “Collaborating with Elife is the next step in Green SM’s global expansion strategy, while also opening up opportunities to strengthen connections with reputable partners and bring the brand closer to a wider international customer base. Through Elife’s global partner network, Green SM expects to expand its operations, making electrified mobility solutions a more convenient and accessible option, contributing to the spread of green mobility trends in Vietnam and international markets.”
Dan Deng, CEO of Elife, shared: “Our mission is to help our partners provide users with reliable transportation services wherever they go. Integrating Green SM’s all-electric fleet into our global network will help partners expand green, high-quality transportation options for users directly on their platform, while maintaining their unique identity and brand. Through this, we aim to contribute to enhancing the travel experience for travellers worldwide.”
The agreement comes amidst rapid growth in the sector. According to market research firm Mordor Intelligence, the global electric taxi market is set to expand from $29.54 billion in 2025 to $110.56 billion by 2031, representing a compound annual growth rate of 24.6%. The airport shuttle and tourism segments are forecasted to grow at 27.6% over the same period.
Founded in Vietnam in 2023, Green SM operates across Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Kazakhstan, Denmark, the Netherlands and the United States. To date, the company has completed nearly 850 million trips across 6 billion kilometres, reducing CO₂ emissions by over 800,000 tonnes.
