Hilton has unveiled plans for five new hotels across the country, continuing a period of intense growth in a market where the group has operated for 70 years. The latest deals cover four different brands and include the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts site for the coastal city of Antalya.
The expansion places a heavy emphasis on lifestyle properties, which now account for nearly 20 per cent of Hilton’s upcoming projects in Türkiye. Two of these new additions will join the Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Istanbul.
Mike Collini, vice president, development, Central and Eastern Europe, Hilton, said: “Türkiye remains a key strategic market for Hilton, where we continue to see significant potential for ongoing expansion. The successful 2025 debuts of both Tapestry Collection and Canopy have reinforced the strong momentum of our lifestyle brands, reflecting travellers’ growing appetite for distinctive, locally inspired experiences. Our latest signings underscore the sustained demand for Hilton’s diverse offerings across the country. With a long-standing and respected presence in Türkiye, we look forward to continuing this next chapter of growth, bringing our hospitality to an even broader spectrum of travellers.”
Antalya’s new flagship, the Hilton Antalya City Centre, is expected to open in 2028. The 254-room hotel will feature a grand ballroom, a large spa and both indoor and rooftop swimming pools.
In Istanbul, the 109-room DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Maçka is set to open this spring near Taksim and Nişantaşı. It will be followed by the 46-room Gist Istanbul, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in 2027 and the 48-room Hilton Istanbul Şişli, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in 2028.
The industrial sector is also included in the plans. The Hilton Garden Inn Kocaeli Dilovasi will open in 2027 as the first international hotel in the local Industrial Zone, offering 104 rooms and a traditional Turkish hammam.
Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, the group will open the Hilton Istanbul Airport and finish work on the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus. Five further lifestyle hotels are also scheduled to open this year, including the Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia and new sites in the Karaköy and Izmir districts.
