Hyatt Hotels Corporation has confirmed a new strategic master franchise agreement to introduce the Hyatt Select brand to the Chinese mainland. The deal was signed with Huanyue International Holdings (Hainan) Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the leading Chinese hotel operator Dossen Group. This partnership allows Dossen to exclusively develop and run Hyatt Select hotels across the country. The move combines the global reach of the Hyatt brand with the local operational power of Dossen Group to grow Hyatt’s presence in the region.

The Hyatt Select brand focuses on the upper-midscale market. It is designed for modern travellers who require a consistent and convenient stay. The hotels will offer contemporary designs and essential services. Guests will have full access to the World of Hyatt loyalty programme. This programme currently has more than 66 million members worldwide and helps to encourage repeat visits.

For hotel owners, the brand offers an efficient operating model. It allows for various development options, including new buildings or the conversion of existing properties. Hyatt aims for this approach to lower the entry barriers for owners and provide better long-term value.
