IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia with the signing of two new properties in Jeddah, a move that strengthens the city’s growing reputation as a hospitality hub ahead of the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
The two hotels Kimpton and EVEN Hotels will form part of a new development in King Abdullah Sports City, the district surrounding the stadium that is due to host the tournament. Both properties are scheduled to open in 2028 and are being developed in partnership with Koushan Real Estate Development Company.
This latest venture highlights IHG’s ambitions to cater to Saudi Arabia’s evolving tourism and business landscape. With a combination of luxury boutique accommodation and wellness-focused lodging, the project aims to appeal to both international visitors and local guests.
Situated in the northern part of Jeddah, the hotels will offer convenient access to major transport routes and key destinations, including the international airport and shopping districts.
