Precast concrete solutions provider Metromont has completed the acquisition of PTAC Engineering, LLC from PTAC Companies, with the transaction taking effect on 5 October 2026.

Following the acquisition, PTAC Engineering’s regional offices in Pensacola and Tampa, Florida, along with its locations in Daphne and Monroeville, Alabama, will now operate directly under Metromont. The move brings the engineering practice’s regional teams into Metromont’s corporate structure to support ongoing technical development.

The takeover formalises a business partnership spanning more than 25 years. During this period, the two firms collaborated on the engineering and design of hundreds of precast concrete structures. Key joint schemes include the Cascades Tallahassee Mixed-Use Development, the Seminole County Justice Center, Clearwater Fire Station 45 and the USC Student Housing Parking Deck.

By integrating PTAC Engineering, Metromont aims to expand its internal design and engineering capabilities across multiple property sectors. Company representatives noted that the transition will support technical advancements and performance in the manufacturing and structural engineering of prestressed and precast concrete solutions. Metromont stated that PTAC’s organisational culture and core values align directly with its own corporate principles of Faith, Honour and Passion.
