Hilton is significantly increasing its footprint in Türkiye with the signing of five new properties, including its first flagship hotel in Antalya. The move highlights the group’s focus on the lifestyle segment, which is rapidly expanding to meet the needs of modern travellers in Istanbul and beyond. These upcoming projects will see Hilton’s portfolio grow across its luxury, full-service and industrial-focused brands over the next two years.
Hilton and Extell Development Company have officially signed an agreement to debut the Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley Resort and Residences in 2028. Located in the newly developed East Village in Park City, Utah, the project offers premier ski-in, ski-out access next to the resort's longest ski run. The development features 132 hotel rooms and 105 luxury branded residences designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and AvroKO. Amenities will include a 15,000 square foot spa, a cantilevered pool and the iconic Peacock Alley lounge.
Hilton has expanded its presence in the Middle East with the opening of three new hotels at the Barr Al Jissah waterfront in Oman. The development includes Al Husn Hotel Muscat, Hilton Muscat Al Bandar and DoubleTree by Hilton Muscat Al Waha. These properties are located between the Al Jissah cliffs and the Gulf of Oman, just 40 minutes away from Muscat International Airport.
JLL has successfully negotiated a refinancing deal for the historic Candler Hotel in Atlanta. The 265-room property, situated in the city’s central business district, is a former office tower built by Coca-Cola mogul Asa Griggs Candler. Now a luxury boutique hotel under Hilton's Curio Collection, the site is famous for its Beaux-Arts architecture and award-winning dining. The financing, provided by Peachtree Group, highlights a positive outlook for Atlanta’s hospitality market.
Hilton has secured three new hotel signings for its DoubleTree brand in Morocco, Togo and the Republic of Congo. The move includes a historic debut in Togo with an upscale airport property in Lomé. These developments are part of a broader plan to triple Hilton's presence in Africa, where the company already has over 100 hotels in the pipeline. Key features of the new sites include West Africa’s largest conference centre in Brazzaville and a luxury resort in Marrakech.
Hilton is set to expand its luxury footprint in the Caribbean with the 2028 opening of AMARIS Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos. The project will operate under the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand and feature 170 guest rooms alongside high-end branded residences. This development is part of a broader push by Hilton to double its luxury presence in the region through its top-tier brands.
