European investor Urban Partners has launched a new regeneration fund with strategic partners Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Viessmann Generations Group. Backed by anchor investors PensionDanmark and SamPension, the vehicle has secured an initial unlevered investment capacity of up to €650 million. The fund targets brownfield sites across growth cities in the Nordics, Germany and the UK to build mixed-use communities and address critical housing shortages.
European urban investor Urban Partners has sold four newly constructed logistics properties near Oslo to KLP Eiendom for NOK 1.8 billion. Solar power company Alight has expanded its clean energy partnership with automotive supplier Lear Corp through three new industrial projects in Europe. The initiatives include a 1.4-megawatt solar carport in Valls, Spain, and two rooftop solar systems at factories in Poland. Operating under a long-term Solar-as-a-Service model, the new installations bring the firms' joint European capacity to more than 6 megawatts across six operational sites.
Construction has commenced on Aspen at Greenleigh, a $148 million premium apartment scheme in Middle River, Maryland. The joint venture between St. John Properties and Somerset Companies will introduce 335 high-specification homes by late 2027. Notably, the development is on track to become North America's largest green Insulated Concrete Form structure, setting a new benchmark for regional urban development.
