Masar Group and Ithmaar Development Company have signed an agreement to manage and operate Dilmunia Marina, located on the northern side of Dilmunia Island.

The deal was announced during the fourth edition of Gateway Gulf, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay and hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB).

Under the contract, Masar Group, a local portfolio company of Mumtalakat, will manage marina operations and develop integrated services for visitors and vessel owners. Proposed facilities include a members’ lounge, a marine training centre and a water transport boat station, alongside maritime technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.

The marina covers roughly 15,000 square metres of water area and an 8,723-square-metre land site. Built to accommodate 121 vessels, the facility features 68 berths for boats up to 13 metres, dry storage for 53 boats and 10 berths for personal watercraft. The site includes 580 metres of modular floating pontoons and a public promenade surrounding the basin.

Scheduled to launch in December 2026, the facility supports Bahrain’s strategy to expand coastal infrastructure, marine tourism and specialised maritime services.
