Hilton has confirmed a new agreement to bring its LXR Hotels & Resorts brand to the Caribbean with the signing of AMARIS Grace Bay. The development is scheduled to open in 2028 and will be located on Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos. Owned by SEFAMM (TCI) Ltd, the project is a mixed-use retreat featuring a hotel alongside a collection of branded residences.
The new site will house 170 guest rooms and suites. The residential portion of the development includes apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms. The design of the resort utilizes natural materials such as polished wood and woven fabrics to reflect the local environment.
“AMARIS Grace Bay, LXR Hotels & Resorts in Turks and Caicos, joins a lineup of exceptional developments across the Caribbean and Latin America, including the recently announced Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay. The strategic additions to Hilton’s expanding pipeline in Turks and Caicos strengthen Hilton’s commitment to accelerating growth in high-demand luxury markets,” said Pablo Maturana, vice president of development, architecture, design and construction, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “AMARIS Grace Bay is a perfect addition to the LXR portfolio, reflecting Hilton’s vision to curate world-class experiences in the region’s most coveted destinations. As we continue to grow our presence, we are proud to introduce iconic properties that will celebrate the rich culture and natural beauty of each locale.”
The property will feature two specialist restaurants, including a Japanese Grill with an omakase counter and a beachfront venue inspired by Aegean and Caribbean flavours. Facilities on-site will include a 10,000-square-foot spa and fitness centre, a kids’ club and a dedicated event space for meetings.
“Our vision for AMARIS Grace Bay was to create an enclave that feels both timeless and deeply connected to the extraordinary beauty of Grace Bay. We are crafting an experience of sustainable elegance and refined comfort. LXR Hotels & Resorts is a partner that champions the individuality and authentic spirit we are bringing to life,” said Fio Firat Mayil, founder and president, SEFAMM (TCI) Ltd.
Hilton is currently expanding its luxury presence across the Caribbean and Latin America, where it manages nearly 300 hotels. Feisal Jaffer, global head of LXR Hotels & Resorts, noted that the signing marks an exciting milestone as the brand enters one of the most iconic destinations in the region.
