Property developer Arada has expanded its AED35 billion Aljada megacity in Sharjah with the launch of an upscale apartment complex called Jenna. This new development consists of six buildings housing 631 premium residences. Located on Aljada’s West Boulevard, the project offers a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes. The company has already released the first 100 units for sale under the Jenna 1 phase. Construction for the entire residential site is expected to reach completion by the end of the first quarter of 2029.

The architectural design of Jenna focuses on a modern and stylish aesthetic. Every apartment comes equipped with smart home features and high-end appliances. Residents will be situated near several major local attractions, including the Madar Mall entertainment centre and the Raffles World Academy Sharjah. The community also features a dedicated sports complex set for completion later this year. Those living in the Jenna complex will also have private access to on-site gyms and swimming pools.

This announcement comes during a period of rapid growth for the property market in Sharjah. New figures from the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department show a 40.7% year-on-year increase in trading value for the first quarter of 2026. Total transactions reached AED18.5 billion during this time, up from AED13.2 billion in the previous year. Arada Group CEO Ahmed Alkhoshaibi noted the stability and resilience of the local market as a key factor in the project’s rollout.

Aljada is a massive 24 million square foot development that currently houses over 20,000 residents. Once finished, it will contain more than 25,000 homes along with commercial offices, retail outlets and hospitality services. Its location offers quick transport links to Sharjah International Airport and major roads such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
