MyStudentFlat, a property technology startup based in Cyprus, has announced its official entry into Greece with the launch of its operations in Athens. The platform, which specialises in digital student housing, confirmed it has secured a portfolio of modern and fully furnished flats in central locations. These areas include Kypseli, Mouseio and Ilissia, which were selected for their proximity to the capital’s major universities and essential amenities.

The launch in Athens represents a significant milestone for the company, which was founded last year. Since its initial debut in Nicosia in the summer of 2025, the firm has seen rapid growth. Following an expansion into Limassol in January 2026, the startup now manages over 50 properties across three cities. This growth has been achieved within a seven-month period, establishing the platform as the first dedicated digital student housing service in the region.

The company’s growth strategy includes further expansion within Greece and Cyprus. MyStudentFlat has identified several cities with high student populations, such as Thessaloniki, Patra, Iraklio, Larissa and Ioannina, as future locations. Beyond these markets, the firm is researching medium-term opportunities in other European countries. Italy and Spain have been cited as the primary targets for its next international steps.

To facilitate these expansion plans, MyStudentFlat is preparing to launch its inaugural funding round this spring. The capital raise is expected to involve a combination of strategic investors and a crowdfunding campaign. This funding will be used to support the business plan and the continuous onboarding of new properties to the platform.

The startup focuses on providing a move-in ready housing experience that is managed entirely through digital channels. By offering transparency and convenience, the platform aims to set new standards for student living in the Mediterranean region. As it continues to scale, the firm remains focused on locations that ensure easy mobility for students and proximity to academic institutions.
