Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced a major expansion in Southeast Asia by bringing the Vietnamese brand Wink into its new Unscripted by Hyatt collection. This move serves as the global debut for the Unscripted brand and significantly increases Hyatt’s presence in Vietnam.

Through a deal with Indochina Kajima, a joint venture between Indochina Capital and Kajima Corporation, six operating Wink hotels have joined the Hyatt portfolio. These properties are located in Saigon, Danang, Tuy Hoa, Can Tho, and Hai Phong. A seventh site, Wink Hanoi Westlake, is expected to open by the end of 2026. Once that hotel opens, the collection will manage more than 2,000 rooms.

Stephen Ho, President – Greater China and Growth, Asia Pacific at Hyatt, said: “This relationship with Indochina Kajima and Wink marks a milestone in our strategy to expand Hyatt’s brand presence in the dynamic Vietnam market. The Unscripted by Hyatt brand is an ideal match for the modern, tech-savvy and social-centric ethos of Wink. We are thrilled to bring this fresh, adventurous brand to a new generation of Vietnamese travelers and international guests.”

Wink has gained a reputation for its focus on technology and sustainable design. Its hotels often feature bold interiors and smart room controls. All properties aim for high environmental standards, including LEED Gold Certification. By joining the Unscripted collection, these independent hotels keep their unique style while gaining access to the World of Hyatt loyalty scheme, which has 61 million members.

Michael Piro, CEO of Indochina Capital and Wink, said: “Wink was built on the belief that Vietnamese travelers deserve design-forward, tech-enabled hotels that don’t compromise on personality. Joining the Unscripted by Hyatt brand allows us to scale that vision while staying true to what makes Wink different: our contemporary ethos, sustainable DNA and modern Vietnamese style with nostalgic touches.”

To mark the launch, World of Hyatt members can receive 500 bonus points per night for stays at participating Wink hotels between 1 January and 31 March 2026. This partnership allows Hyatt to enter new Vietnamese destinations while providing Wink with the scale of a global hospitality giant.
