Premium-casual Canadian restaurant chain Moxies is officially opening its first Washington D.C. location on December 9, at 1111 20th St. NW, near Dupont Circle. The new flagship venue, spanning over 8,000 square feet, will serve its signature menu of globally inspired dishes. The D.C. franchise is led by former Executive Chef Brandon Thordarson, who stated the Dupont Circle area is the "perfect place" for the brand's sophisticated and social atmosphere.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Mangala Estate Kuantan, a 67-villa eco-luxury resort, marking the entry of its Vignette Collection brand into Malaysia. Located in Kuantan, Pahang, the property is a nature-rich sanctuary aligned with Vignette Collection’s ‘Means for Good’ hallmark, featuring lush greenery, two lakes for activities, and a focus on farm-to-table dining.
Aimbridge Hospitality has welcomed the voco Sandpiper All-Inclusive Resort to its rapidly growing All-Inclusive Division. The 335-key resort in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is the first US property in the division and is undergoing a $50 million renovation financed by owners Sandpiper Bay Resort Holdings, LLC. The property is transitioning to IHG's voco hotels brand. It will be a family-friendly, sports-focused all-inclusive destination, with the first phase of upgrades due in early 2026. The renovation includes refreshed rooms, over six new food and beverage concepts, and expanded sports and meeting facilities.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has debuted an integrated hospitality destination in Shanghai's Lingang district with the grand opening of three new hotels. The complex includes the Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang, Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Center, and Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang. The properties share an "artistic exploration" design theme, referencing the region's maritime heritage. The offering is tailored to business travellers, leisure guests, and those requiring extended stays.
The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, MODON, and JINGDONG Property, JD.com’s infrastructure arm, have signed an MoU to develop and operate two million square metres of logistics and industrial assets in Saudi Arabia. The agreement, sealed at the UNIDO GC21 in Riyadh, focuses on projects in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam. The first project will be a 40,000+ sqm Grade-A speculative warehousing facility in Jeddah Industrial City, built to BREEAM Excellence standards.
Kronos Homes has launched its first mixed-use tourism project in Lisbon, the €150 million MIMA development in the Parque das Nações district. A core component is MIMA Living, offering 180 residential apartments with a new concept of urban housing. The fully furnished apartments, designed by Broadway Malyan, combine contemporary architecture and flexibility.
