CPP Investments and Brookfield Asset Management have launched the Maple Fund, a joint scheme targeting up to C$50 billion in equity investments. The five-year venture aims to fund major Canadian infrastructure projects and strategic industries. Each partner will supply up to C$25 billion on an equal split, targeting large-scale initiatives valued over C$5 billion while allowing third-party investor participation on select projects.
