KKR and its European logistics platform Mirastar have completed the £170 million acquisition of four UK industrial assets from developer PLP. The 1.25 million square foot portfolio includes properties in Stafford, Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Wakefield. The fully let developments feature rooftop solar panels, high environmental credentials and a weighted average lease term of 10 years to break.
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation subsidiary Kuwait Oil Company has signed a 16 billion US dollar deal with Blackstone, Brookfield and KKR. The 20.5-year lease and leaseback agreement covers the firm’s domestic and export crude oil pipeline network. Marking the largest foreign direct investment in Kuwait history, the deal will provide 7.85 billion US dollars in upfront proceeds to support national production goals.
Global investment firm KKR has completed the acquisition of the Cheongna Logistics Center in Incheon, South Korea. The deal represents the largest single asset logistics transaction in the country to date. Working alongside local asset manager Kreate, KKR acquired the 4.6 million square foot facility to capitalise on the growing demand for modern warehousing. The site is currently fully occupied and serves as a vital link in the Greater Seoul metropolitan area supply chain.
