UN Tourism has launched a new Road Map to prepare for the International Year of Sustainable and Resilient Tourism in 2027. This strategy follows a mandate from the United Nations General Assembly. The plan was recently welcomed by the Committee on Tourism and Sustainability during a summit in Madrid. The organisation aims to use the next three years to position the travel sector as a key driver for global development beyond the 2030 goals.
