Minor Hotels has announced plans to launch Avani Kota Kinabalu in the first quarter of 2027. The 352-key property will mark the introduction of the Avani brand to the Malaysian state of Sabah. Developed as part of The Logg Luyang project by KTI Landmark, the hotel will act as the hospitality anchor for the mixed-use scheme.
Minor Hotels has launched reservations for Anantara Tented Camp Kafue River, its first tented safari property in Zambia. Situated in Kafue National Park, the eco-friendly 13-key resort features structures elevated on timber platforms to protect local wildlife corridors. The luxury development marks a major milestone in Anantara's 25th anniversary year and supports regional ecological restoration.
The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has chosen Minor Hotels to manage the Sharjah Collection, a regional portfolio of seven eco-focused boutique properties. The project marks the first European venture for the Royal Group of Companies Singapore and aims to blend heritage architecture with high-end hospitality.
Minor Hotels has confirmed the signing of two new Anantara properties in India, marking a major step in its regional growth. The expansion includes the brand’s first Indian resort in the Western Ghats and its debut urban hotel in Kolkata. These developments are part of a wider plan by the global group to reach a target of 50 properties across the country within the next decade.
