Lagos State has signed a two-year partnership with the Institution of Public-Private Partnerships Hong Kong to advance its infrastructure goals. The deal was formalised during the 19th Asian Financial Forum in Hong Kong this January. The agreement focuses on technical collaboration and knowledge sharing to support the THEMES+ development agenda in Lagos. Special Adviser Mrs Bukola Odoe led the Nigerian delegation to secure improved access to global investment networks and best practices.
New Murabba has formalised a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Municipalities and Housing to streamline urban development in Riyadh. The agreement covers land use integration, green space expansion and the adoption of global best practices for infrastructure. Saudi Arabia is moving ahead with its plans for Advanced Air Mobility with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) signing an agreement with US-based Archer Aviation. The collaboration aims to develop a regulatory path for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) air taxis in the Kingdom. The first routes are expected to connect Riyadh and Jeddah, and service the nation’s giga-projects like Red Sea Global.
New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund company, and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Washington, D.C., establishing a framework to explore collaboration in sustainable urban development. The agreement focuses on applying global sustainability frameworks like LEED across the New Murabba project. New Murabba has also joined the USGBC as a Platinum member, signalling a deep commitment to sustainability leadership in creating a new destination in Riyadh.
