Sun Group has signed a US$360 million agreement with an international consortium to build a massive aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul complex at Vietnam's Van Don International Airport. The project, involving HAECO, Japan Airlines and Toyota Tsusho, aims to address a severe regional capacity shortage and lower the local industry's dependence on overseas engineering hubs when operations begin in 2028.
