Work has officially begun on the preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of Kinh Thien Palace at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi. Attended by General Secretary and President To Lam, the groundbreaking marks the start of a major project backed by 15 years of interdisciplinary research and UNESCO consultations. Developer Sun Group has been selected to construct the historical restoration, which forms the first step of a long-term capital master plan.
Construction has commenced on King + Park, an ambitious mixed-use masterplan development at the gateway to Burnaby, British Columbia. Joint venture partners Crestpoint Real Estate Investments, Vestcor and Anthem Properties celebrated the milestone alongside local officials. The transit-oriented scheme will deliver vital rental housing across multiple phases and includes the extensive refurbishment of a landmark 50-year-old local office tower.
The Park Hyatt Tokyo, Asia’s first establishment under the brand, has completed a landmark 19-month, property-wide restoration. Announced on 9th of December by Hyatt Hotels Corporation, the project was led by Paris-based design studio Jouin Manku and marks the most extensive renewal in the iconic hotel’s 30-year history. The work spans 171 redesigned guestrooms and suites, restored public spaces, and elevated dining offerings including the new Girandole by Alain Ducasse.
