DigiCo Infrastructure REIT has appointed Michael Juniper as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Digital Infrastructure. Juniper, who previously helped scale AirTrunk into a leading Asia-Pacific hyperscale platform, is expected to accelerate DigiCo’s data centre expansion to meet surging demand for cloud and AI services. DGT Chair, Joseph Carrozzi AM, welcomed the appointment, citing Juniper's exceptional track record as uniquely qualifying him to guide the company.
Researchers at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have launched the GlobalBuildingAtlas, the first high-resolution 3D map of all buildings worldwide. The open dataset includes 2.75 billion building models captured in 2019 satellite imagery, making it the world's most comprehensive collection of its kind. The data is crucial for climate research and supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Mangala Estate Kuantan, a 67-villa eco-luxury resort, marking the entry of its Vignette Collection brand into Malaysia. Located in Kuantan, Pahang, the property is a nature-rich sanctuary aligned with Vignette Collection’s ‘Means for Good’ hallmark, featuring lush greenery, two lakes for activities, and a focus on farm-to-table dining.
Watts Water Technologies Inc., a world leader in water solutions, has successfully purchased Saudi Cast. This strategic purchase was completed on December 1, 2025. It was financed using Watts’ existing cash reserves. Saudi Cast brings annualised sales of about $20 million to Watts. The acquired business will now operate within the APMEA regional segment. The move expands Watts’ operational reach in the Middle East.
Elsewedy Industrial Development has signed a major agreement with Kunming Chuanjinnuo Chemical Co. (CJN) to build a phosphate chemical industries complex in Egypt. The project will be located in Sokhna 360 and involves a total investment of nearly USD 1 billion. It aims to produce fertilisers, specialty chemicals and electric vehicle battery materials. The initiative is expected to create 10,000 jobs and position Egypt as a regional hub for new energy materials.
