IHG Hotels & Resorts has introduced its Vignette Collection to Africa by welcoming the Fairview Hotel Nairobi into the brand's global portfolio. The 99-room heritage hotel, known for its lush gardens and early 20th-century architecture, is the first on the continent to join this luxury collection. The partnership allows the boutique property to retain its Kenyan character while utilizing IHG’s global scale and rewards programme.
Marriott International is set to launch its EDITION brand in Africa following a deal with V&A Waterfront Holdings in Cape Town. The development, which includes a 142-room hotel and six exclusive private residences, is slated for completion in 2026. Designed by Neri & Hu and StudioMAS, the project will be located at the edge of the Granger Bay development.
