Imtiaz Developments has commissioned the globally recognised Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) to design its upcoming ultra-luxury mixed-use project in Dubai's prestigious Meydan district. The AED 1 billion development, which will feature residences, offices, and high-end retail, is scheduled for launch on November 18th at CocaCola Arena. The partnership signifies a major milestone in Imtiaz’s strategic expansion into Dubai’s most exclusive areas, following the announcement of an AED 3 billion portfolio in Meydan.
This new asset-backed hybrid token, set for a Q2 2026 market debut subject to regulatory approval, is a collaborative venture between Hotdesk, Al Maryah Community Bank, Emirates Coin Investment, and Singularity. It aims to democratise access to high-quality, income-producing assets. By leveraging the divisibility of blockchain, DESK will allow global investors to participate with minimal capital, offering a significantly more liquid and accessible investment alternative to traditional Real Estate Investment Trusts.
Luxury real estate developer Sobha Realty has launched "The Mirage," adding 677 new apartments to its flagship Sobha Central master development on Sheikh Zayed Road. This expansion follows exceptional early sales at the site, which totalled AED 3.5 billion from over 1,500 units sold. The new Chedi Private Residences Downtown is the second branded residential tower to be developed in partnership with Al Seeb Real Estate Development. The decision to move ahead with the second project quickly followed the successful launch of the first project, The Chedi Private Residences Sheikh Zayed Road. This debut development sold 65% of its units within months of its market introduction earlier in the year. The latest signing confirms Chedi Hospitality’s rapid expansion in the luxury branded residences segment, a drive that includes the recently announced Chedi Residences Wadi Safar in Saudi Arabia.
TA’ZIZ, a joint venture between ADNOC and ADQ, has awarded a $1.99 billion Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to China National Chemical Engineering & Construction Corporation Seven, Ltd. (CC7). The contract is for constructing the UAE's first integrated, single-site polyvinyl chloride (PVC) production complex, which will be one of the top three largest globally. The Phase 1 ecosystem is expected to contribute $50 billion to the national economy and create 26,000 jobs.
New7Wonders has launched its global “7 Wonders of Future Cities” campaign on World Cities Day 2025, inviting urban developments worldwide to compete for recognition as leading models of innovation and sustainability. Cities and districts have twelve months to apply before global public voting begins in October 2026. Winners will be named on 31 October 2027 in the next major New7Wonders initiative.
