JLL has announced a series of senior leadership changes within its Irish business to position the firm for its next growth phase.

Effective January 2027, Deirdre Costello will take over as CEO Ireland. Costello, who currently serves as Head of Leasing Advisory, will retain her existing responsibilities alongside her new leadership role. She replaces John Moran, who has served as CEO since 2009 and will transition into the reintroduced position of Chairman, Ireland, after more than 40 years with the business.

In an immediate change, Dan O’Connor has been appointed Head of Capital Markets and Hotels, Ireland. O’Connor, who has spent nearly two decades at JLL and led the Hotels and Living division since 2023, succeeds Moran in the Capital Markets leadership role while maintaining his duties in the hospitality sector.

Costello has spent over 30 years at JLL, advising on key commercial office developments across Dublin. In her new capacity, she will lead company strategy by combining global market intelligence, technology and advisory capabilities.
