Thai property developer Britania Public Company Limited (BRI), the low-rise residential arm of Origin Property Public Company Limited, has announced an aggressive expansion into the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and eastern Bangkok, rolling out eight residential projects valued at over 8.8 billion baht. The portfolio features 1,726 units across detached houses, semi-detached properties and townhomes, priced between 2.79 million and 11 million baht.
Rising industrial investment, employment generation and an influx of expatriates continue to stimulate demand in the Bang Na-Bang Phli-Bang Bo zone and the broader EEC region. Research indicates land sales and leases across eastern industrial estates are projected to expand by 3.0% to 4.0% annually between 2026 and 2028, supported by key infrastructure connections to Suvarnabhumi and U-Tapao airports alongside Laem Chabang and Map Ta Phut ports.
Commenting on the overall market for low-rise residential properties during the first six months of 2026, Britania Chief Executive Officer Kris Techasamma said: “Not all locations are experiencing an upward trend and receiving a positive response from consumers. However, from Britania’s perspective, the low-rise housing market in the eastern Bangkok area, specifically the Bang Na-Bang Phli-Bang Bo zone and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), continues to show growth potential. This is driven by industrial investment, job creation, and the influx of expats working in Thailand.”
Three developments are situated in Chachoengsao’s Bang Pakong district, including Britania Bangna Km. 39, Britania Home Bangna-Bang Pakong, and Brighton Bang Pakong Premium Townhomes. The remaining five developments are spread across Chonburi and Rayong, comprising Britania Amata Panthong, Brighton Amata Sukprayoon, Britania Bangsaen, Britania Rayong, and Grand Britannia Rayong.
The developer has operated in the eastern zone since 2018, utilising both direct ownership and joint-venture models with local landowners under the parent company’s broader expansion strategy.
“Britania brand homes, in addition to their unique English-style design and prime locations, also prioritise innovation, quality, and service to deliver the best homes to our customers. The design focuses on maximising the use of every square inch of space, creating the best homes where people of all ages can live together happily,” said Mr. Kris.
