Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Junction Café & Provisions at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. The project is the latest output from StiR Creative Collective, the in-house food and beverage consultancy arm of the global hospitality group. The venue is designed to function as a hybrid between a modern café and an artisan corner store, providing all-day dining and retail provisions for guests and locals.

Located on the second floor of the hotel near the check-in desk, the space is intended to serve as a hub for connectivity. The menu includes breakfast items such as steel-cut oats and savoury scones, transitioning to salads and sandwiches for lunch and dinner. Beverages are provided through a partnership with La Colombe Coffee Roasters. Additionally, the retail section stocks local New Orleans brands including Zapp’s and JeanTherapy.

Brian Abel, senior vice president, food and beverage operations and development, Americas, Hilton, said: “Junction is a powerful addition to our growing StiR Creative Collective portfolio, further strengthening Hilton’s position as an industry innovator across the Americas. By pairing strategic insight with creative, culturally resonant design, Junction exemplifies how StiR elevates the guest experience and reimagines food and beverage across our brands. It expands a portfolio of concepts that are both commercially impactful and redefining hotel dining for guests, meeting attendees, and locals.”

The New Orleans site is the first of several planned locations. Hilton intends to expand the Junction brand to two more properties in the United States later this year. Leonard Gooz, global brand leader, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, stated: “This is a meaningful milestone for Hilton Hotels & Resorts as we introduce a new dining concept that reflects the evolution of our brand – one grounded in energizing connections, elevated design, and bringing people together in meaningful ways. From delivering the best of local and global food and beverage to creating environments that invite guests to connect, unwind, and discover, this dining concept will represent the future of our brand. Junction will offer experiences that are authentically New Orleans yet unmistakably world‑class. As one of the largest hotels in the Americas, and with the support of our partners at Park Hotels & Resorts, we’re proud to debut this groundbreaking concept in the heart of New Orleans.”

David Piscola, general manager of Hilton New Orleans Riverside, noted that the timing aligns with the upcoming Mardi Gras season. He said: “We’re very proud to debut this exciting new Hilton Hotels & Resorts food and beverage concept here at Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Junction also celebrates several of our renowned partners that are distinctly NOLA. With Mardi Gras approaching and as we prepare to welcome visitors from around the world, we’re thrilled to introduce our guests to this new concept, complementing our wider food and beverage program.”
