Lagermax Logistics Croatia has completed the construction of a third logistics warehouse at its headquarters in Luka near Zagreb. The transport and logistics provider has expanded its total warehouse capacity to 60,000 square metres with the new facility now fully operational. The development strengthens the company’s position as a major logistics hub in Southeast Europe.

In tandem with this development, Lagermax Autotransport has invested in growing its own storage capabilities at the same Luka location. The company expanded its existing storage area to allow for the temporary storage of an extra 1,200 vehicles on the site.

The newly built warehouse has achieved an Excellent rating under the internationally recognised BREEAM sustainability standard. This is the highest possible certification level. By hitting this target, Lagermax Croatia has met strict benchmarks for energy efficiency, resource conservation and sustainable construction. The certification highlights the group commitment to delivering modern warehouse logistics solutions.

Company bosses stated that the infrastructure upgrades will allow both arms of the business to meet the increasing requirements seen across the entire supply chain of their partners and clients. The recent site expansions have successfully optimised current logistics processes and improved the long-term operational capabilities of the Luka hub.

Dino Misar, Managing Director of Lagermax Logistics Croatia, commented on the expansion plans. Misar said: “By expanding our infrastructure, we are investing in the future of our location. The new capacities enable us to react flexibly to customer needs and offer sustainable logistics solutions.”
