The deal includes over two million square feet of warehousing capacity and transfers 2,000 employees. Triggered by a Competition and Markets Authority requirement following GXO’s purchase of Wincanton, the acquisition strengthens DP World's national supply network across ambient, chilled and frozen storage for major British grocers.
Sime Darby Property and ESR have expanded the E-Metro Logistics Park in Selangor, Malaysia, by adding over 2,200,000 square feet of warehouse space. The expansion includes the finished Metrohub 4 facility and the groundbreaking of Metrohub 3. Global beverage brand MIXUE has pre-committed to Metrohub 4, while Metrohub 3 will offer specialised storage for electric vehicle components and lithium batteries.

The three-building purchase expands the firm's US footprint to 3.2 million square feet. The company plans to modernise and decarbonise the assets through solar power, electrification and battery storage, aiming to reduce onsite emissions by 104%.
Lagermax Logistics Croatia has completed its third logistics warehouse at its Luka headquarters near Zagreb. The new facility increases total storage capacity to 60,000 square metres. Additionally, sister company Lagermax Autotransport has expanded its site to accommodate 1,200 more vehicles. The newly built facility achieved the highest BREEAM sustainability rating of Excellent for its energy efficiency and resource conservation.

Logistics real estate specialist ESR has expanded its partnership with Mitsubishi Estate Asia through a new joint venture in Western Sydney. The deal will fund a premium 700 million Australian dollar industrial estate spanning 18.3 hectares in Huntingwood. Construction is slated to begin later this year, delivering up to 114,005 square metres of modern warehousing space to address exceptionally low vacancy rates in the region.
